Maintaining Tradition with Outdoor Holiday Lighting

Traditions are what make the holidays so special, and one of the most cherished traditions is holiday lighting. String lights in classic white, red, green or blue will never go out of style, and if you upgrade to LED lights, you can use the same strands for years to come. Gold and silver are also traditionally used for more elegant holiday décor.

In addition to these time-honored traditions, a new tradition of longevity and flexibility is beginning to reign with holiday décor. More and more, homeowners are establishing their own personal traditions by choosing an outdoor lighting design that beautifully festive year-round. This garden lighting décor, for example trees wrapped in lights, can enhance any celebration whether by creating a winter wonderland or by creating a sparkling, summer soiree.

Don’t forget to register for the Outdoor Holiday Décor Class led by our very own co-founder of Columbine Design, Annie Huston at the Inn at Hudson Gardens in Littleton, Colorado on Thursday, November 17th. To register, call the Education Department of Hudson Gardens at (303) 797-8565 ext. 306 or go online to shop.hudsongardens.org.
