Columbine Design Landscape Professionals is now offering in-kind donations of a Container Planting Party for auctions benefiting philanthropic organizations to our active clients. A Container Planting Party lead by Columbine Design co-founder Annie Huston is valued at $600.

A Container Planting Party will be offered to the auction winner who will be able to invite a maximum of 12 participating friends, colleagues, neighbors or clients to his or her home for two hours of creative fun. The event is perfect for gardeners of any and all levels, from accomplished green thumbs to first-timers. Annie Huston, the award-winning presenter and container garden designer, will help the group to plant spectacular summer containers. Participants will be asked to bring gardening gloves and a container (18” maximum in diameter), and Columbine Design will provide the potting soil and professional quality annuals to use in the planting arrangements.

It is best to schedule Container Planting Parties sometime in the months of May and June as this is a fun activity that can be hosted in the backyard or on a back patio. Auction winners of the Container Planting Party are encouraged to make it an outdoor event complete with food and drinks, too!
